We are not following the Stations of the Cross physically at St Teresa’s this Lent but there are a number of online resources you might like to use. If you prefer to use a paper-based resource, the traditional booklets are available in Church to take away and use at home – but please bring them back so we can use them next year!
- Each Thursday during Lent, The Knights of St Columba, together with parishioners from local parishes and our Pastoral Associate, Joanne Wallace, will bring the Stations of the Cross into your homes. Each week we invite you to join our Lenten Journey online as we follow in Christ’s footsteps and share in his suffering, passion and death as we read The Way of The Cross. . The second week will be available to view on Thursday 25th February via the SJR Pastoral Area YouTube channel from 7pm. It will remain online for you to access thereafter.
- Redemptorist Publications offer a 1 hour YouTube video of the Stations of the Cross here.
“The way of the cross is not confined to a lonely road in Jerusalem two thousand years ago: it is a busy highway winding through every village, town and city in our modern world. Fr Denis McBride C.Ss.R. reflectively guides us along the way of the cross.”
- CAFOD also have a Powerpoint presentation and guide available here.
“This takes us on a prayerful journey of transformation in solidarity with people living in poverty around the world. As we walk through the Stations, we also share their journey through a mixture of their stories, scripture and prayer. We also produce a Stations of the Cross reflection as part of our Lent resources for children and Lent resources for young people.”
