We have a lot going on in Lent this year with the launch of the CAFOD Live Simply Award, weekly reflections led by our young people and Stations of the Cross every Friday.
Have a look at our calendar for a list of events, not just at St Teresa’s, but also in the neighbouring Anglican and Methodist churches and in the Liverpool Archdiocese.

This Lent the Children’s Liturgy Group is reflecting on God’s Gifts of Love and Mercy to link with the Cafod Livesimply campaign. The theme for this week is ‘Blessings’. You may want to keep or continue with a Gratitude Diary during Lent, focussing on how you feel blessed in your everyday life. It does not need to be complicated – just do it at the end of the day or jot things down as they happen or occur to you. You could also share them with family, friends and fellow parishioners. The materials from which we have taken our inspiration are based on the Lenten Old Testament readings and are available online at http://www.rcdhn.org.uk/spirituality/spiritlent19.php
The Synod liturgy group has also made available some of Pope Francis’ reflections on the Gospels to use each week in Lent https://synod2020.co.uk/prayer/lent .
There are a few printed copies at the back of Church of both leaflets.
